Causes and Treatment Of Acne or Pimples
Acne/pimples are mainly caused by over secretion of sebum on the skin, which inturn mixes up with dirt, dead skin cells etc and clogs the facial pores there by forming a pimple.
Some factors trigger acne or pimples break out.
Factors like:
Genes: your skin type can be as a result of your genetic makeup, you can inherit an overly oily skin from a parent which is absolutely normal.
Choices of food: You need to figure out what you are alergic to, or what you eat and the next day you wake up with a pimple. For me it’s Red Meat, Groundnut, Pizza, Cheese,Butter and soft drinks or soda. If I should take any of these, I must breakout. So take some time to observe your skin.
Lack of sleep or rest: Our body reacts in a way to tell us how it feels, what it needs, and what it can’t take. When you constantly deprive yourself of proper or adequate sleep, it shows on your skin and you end up with acne or pimples on your Chin especially.
Bedspread: when last did you wash that bed spread and pillow case too? Is it wool , cotton or silk Materials? Does it irritate your skin? These are personal questions you need to ask yourself.
Hormones: Hormonal changes in your body sure does contribute to acne breakout especially for those battling with PCOS. I have had many girls or ladies come to me and will be like Jasmine each time my period comes, I tend to have more pimples. Yes it’s due to your hormones.
Lifestyle: do you over drink, over eat, party and no time for rest or proper sleep? Be sure it’s going to tell on your skin.
